Option 2: The Comfort & View (Cable Car Round-trip) The most popular choice for a relaxing experience. Take the enclosed cable car directly to Watchtower No. 14. It offers the smoothest ride and the best panoramic views for photography without the strenuous climb.
Option 3: The Hiker's Challenge (Hiking on Foot) For those looking to stretch their legs after a long flight, a 30-minute steady uphill hike through the forest brings you to Watchtower No. 8 or No. 10. A true "boots-on-the-ground" experience!
The Highlight | The Most Scenic Stretch (Watchtowers 14–23) Once on the Wall, we recommend the hike between Watchtower No. 14 and No. 23. This section is widely considered the most beautiful, offering the classic "winding dragon" silhouette of the Great Wall against the lush mountains.
Pro Tip: Hike east to Watchtower 23 for breathtaking views, then retrace your steps to your preferred descent point.

Gratuities for local guides, drivers, hotel porters, and restaurant staff are left to your discretion. Furthermore, tour prices are based on twin-sharing occupancy; if you are traveling solo, we will arrange for you to share a twin room with another traveler of the same sex in most cases, but should you prefer a private room, a Single Room Supplement will apply based on your specific travel dates.
