Itinerary
Your private tour guide will pick you up at your hotel in the morning and drive to Kangding via Ya'an first. You will pass the first pass on the Sichuan-Tibet Highway - Erlang Mountain. After arriving at Kangding, you will be free to explore the city for a short time. Then, continue dring to Xinduqiao.

Today, you will drive to Daocheng via Litang. After passing the two 4300 meters high mountains - the Jianziwan & Kazila mountain, you will have lunch in Litang. After a short break, you will continue driving to Daocheng to visit a Tibetan monastery.

In the early morning, drive to Yading Nature Reserve. After a 2-hour drive, you will be there and get your entrance tickets. Then, you can take the local sightseeing bus to Longlong Ba. You can hike or ride a horse to Chonggu Temple. From there, you will trek up to Drolma-la tso or Pearl Lake, the best place to view the holy peak of Xinnairi. Then, you will walk back to Longlong Ba, which will take 1-1.5 hours.

Morning hike up or take a horse to Chonggu Temple. After that, you will take the local storage battery bus to Luorong Pasture, the best place to pilgrim the three sacred peaks of Xinnairi, Yangmaiyong and Xialuoduojie. You can choose to hide up to Milk Lake and Five-Color Lake or ride a horse to get there. Then, return to Luorong Pasture and take the bus back to Chonggu Temple. Walk down or ride a horse to Longlong Ba and then take the sightseeing bus to Shangrila Town.
In the end, your tour guide and driver will drive you back to Daocheng.
